Our Ethos
Our Ethos
Welcome to Sticky Rice! We are so excited to bring everyone together for a sweaty, sunburnt weekend at Casa Oliver. To ensure we create an unforgettable, safe, and comfortable environment for everyone, please review the event ethos and house rules below.
The Vibe: What to Expect
Sticky Rice is a high-energy, celebratory, and uninhibited weekend designed specifically for gay Asian bears and their admirers.
Body-Positive: Expect a sea of thick, shirtless, and clothes-free bodies basking in the desert heat. This is a judgment-free zone rooted in self-love, your level of dress is always up to your personal comfort.
Playful & Social: The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and naturally fluid. It’s a space to build deep community, laugh too loud by the pool, and engage in mutual appreciation. Flirting and chemistry are a part of the vibe.
Organic Energy: While the environment is sexually liberated, Sticky Rice is not an organized play party. There is absolutely no pressure to perform or participate in anything beyond your individual comfort level.
-
A sexually liberated space only works when everyone feels 100% safe. "No" means no, and a hesitant "yes" means no. Always ask before initiating physical touch, flirting intensely, or entering someone’s personal space. Respecting boundaries is non-negotiable.
-
Keep an eye on your friends and fellow guests. Make sure everyone is staying hydrated in the desert heat, pacing themselves, and feeling included. If you see someone who looks uncomfortable or needs help, step in or find a host.
-
Because this is a clothing-optional and uninhibited space, photography and video recording are strictly prohibited in public areas unless explicitly agreed upon by everyone in the frame. Let’s keep this a safe haven where everyone can let go without worrying about social media.
-
The resort is our sanctuary for the weekend. Please respect the space, use trash receptacles, keep glass away from the pool area, and help us maintain a clean, beautiful environment for everyone.
